WE THINK DIFFERENTLY!

WE ARE THE UNIQUE SNOWSPORT SCHOOL IN ZERMATT PROVIDING ONLY FULLY CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS.

Other schools claim to offer "QUALIFIED" instructors. We only employ "FULLY CERTIFIED" instructors.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Other schools' instructors may only have a few days of "introductory" training, conducted by the school they work for. They may only have a few hours of teaching experience. They may classify this as "qualified".

WE THINK DIFFERENTLY ...

Our instructors ALWAYS have a MINIMUM of 48 days of combined theory (methodology, safety, psychology, management, communication, language, tourism, etc.) and practical training. This consists of 8 stages of grading, testing & examinations - all conducted by the official Swiss Snowboard Education Federation (SSBS) or Swiss Snowsports (SSSA). They also had to have a MINIMUM of 80 days of teaching experience PRIOR to their final exams.

These qualifications entitle our instructors: Snow Sports Instructor with Federal Certificate of Higher Vocational Education and Training - Ski/Snowboard Instructor with National Diploma. (Recognised by ISIA - the International Ski Instructors Association, the world body for professional ski instructors).

This certification alone will not be enough to automatically secure placement with our team! Our team is carefully selected. Personality is taken into account. Our instructors must be friendly and highly motivated.

In line with our Mission Statement, our instructors must be driven by a passion for customer service. They must not think in terms of small steps. Their vision must be simple. Exceed customer expectations. Strive not to better the competition, but to challenge assumptions about snowsports services.
